点评:I came here in January 2025, a few weeks after the holidays, to see the famous holiday lights in Saint Augustine. On a weekend this restaurant was packed, especially because their entire upstairs area looked like it was reserved for a wedding rehearsal dinner party. We put our names down for a two hour wait and then proceeded to wander around Saint Augustine, making the wait bearable. We also got drinks there at the Prohibition Kitchen bar while we waited, the Hibiscus Spritz and the Pineapple Express, which were tasty. When we got to our table we ordered two Moscow Mules and the poutine, which had cheese curds, brown gravy, sour cream, and chives, all covering crispy fries. The flavor was about what you’d expect. I then ordered the bootlegger burger, which had smoked bacon, fried pickled green tomato, house pimento cheese, and arugula. It was an elegant combination of crunchy, creamy, sweet, and tart - truly impressive. Overall, Prohibition Kitchen was worth the wait but next time I would go back during the off-season for tourists.
