点评：Yes, you may have come to Tampa Bay/Clearwater/St. Pete for the beaches and golf; however, a lot of us locals love Palm Harbor - split in half by seven-mile-long Lake Tarpon. As you might guess, the East Lake Cafe is on the southeast side of the lake but still very handy to all the northwest end of Tampa Bay has to offer, and Palm Harbor is a stepping-off point to Tarpon Springs and north along the Nature Coast for all of our critters here, more beaches, and 50+ golf courses!
Our brunch this morning was perfect - a break after an early appointment so we were offered either the breakfast or lunch menu. I chose their Florentine Omelet, and my Best Girl always has a type of Benedict. All other egg dishes and skillets are available, and the lunch menu is equally inviting. Our stop there is always great, but this morning seemed a little more special.
One final note. This East Lake Cafe has a lot of both inside and outside comfortable seating. It was a little warm and windy for us this morning, but outside was still the most popular.
