点评：Review of the Longhorn Steak House Palm Coast
Last night was our third visit to Palm Coast’s Longhorn Steak House. The first was for lunch which was very reasonable and good. The second was for four people for my birthday. Unfortunately, that was a disaster and we left without being seated. We had called ahead and followed their directions and what the wait time might be. Yes, they don’t accept reservations but, on the phone call the indication was that we would be seated very soon after arriving. There was an hour’s wait.
Last night probably could be called mediocre. My wife ordered a filet Mignon and I ordered Strip Steak with loaded potato. That potato was excellent as were the Caesar Salads. But the seasoning put on the meat was overpowering the meat. It was overly salty and completely disguised the meat. That is not why you go to a Steak House even if it is a chain.
We were seated in a nice-sized booth but against the back wall. Don’t ever get seated there!!! The kitchen area is directly behind that wall and the noise sounded like thunder at times and other times like a bowling alley on the other side of the wall. I will accept blame for accepting that booth when taken there. I cannot blame the wait staff and crew as they are very young, likely not experienced but working incredibly hard. Even with my hearing aids I could barely hear the waitress.
The experience was not worth the cost and generous tip I left. I would go to St. Augustine in the future for a steak dinner or perhaps Crave in Flagler Beach.

这次经历不值得我花的钱和留下的慷慨小费。我以后会去圣奥古斯丁吃牛排晚餐，或者去弗拉格勒海滩的 Crave 餐厅。
