Rude front desk staff / smelly bathroom

点评：Rude front desk staff. I made repeated attempts to call the front desk from the room desk phone to no avail. The only button on the phone that resulted in any sort of “ring” on the other end was marked “housekeeping” & even they never picked up and answered the phone. Nothing else worked. I wanted to request a slightly later checkout time. That’s usually an option for a diamond member & we needed to utilize that option, as my son had fallen ill. So I called the hotel from my cell only to be put on hold immediately. I wait 3 minutes before I hang up and call back several more times only to be put on hold or actually disconnected. So during my last call I decide to walk down to the front desk and the woman is there by herself but with no customer in sight. She appeared to be doing absolutely nothing. I very politely requested a late checkout & she says she can’t allow one. I explain that I’m a diamond member and typically that is an option given to diamond members. She rudely insists she cannot allow a late checkout (mind you I was asking for an 11:30 AM checkout vs the normal 11:00 AM). Definitely a place I will never return to. We were also placed on the 1st floor when I requested a higher floor (it’s in my profile). We checked in very late at night so I just went with it so we could get settled in. The bathroom also had a nauseating smell to it. This hotel definitely does not measure up to typical Hilton standards.
