It was cool but not what I was expecting

点评：It was very cool but not what I was expecting at all. Based on the photos & videos that are posted all over their website & social media and “free dive with sharks” I was expecting just that. What was pictured & advertised. I didn’t expect to be nearly motionless, with 2 hands on a rope the entire time. Our guide was quite far from us and sharks were no closer than 20 feet at any given time. I actually enjoyed being in the boat and throwing out the chum more because that’s the closest we got to the sharks. I felt like a lot was left to be desired. Our guide was very nice and cool. I feel like they do a lot of false advertising, I found not one thing on the entire website that mentions you will be 2 hands on a rope. But I found a whole bunch of “free dive with sharks” and a whole bunch of photos and videos of people actually swimming with sharks, coming up to them etc. my guess is it’s all the instructors on their free time getting marketing bits. It’s not at all what the consumer will experience.
Another negative was I paid for the 250$ photo package. I did not get a single photo that I was happy with. It was mainly just the sharks. Why would I pay for photos of sharks? I got 1 or 2 pics of the 3 of us with a shark and the shark is so far and the photo is from so far. It was not worth the 250$ at all.
I’ve sat on this review for a while to make sure I just wasn’t bummed. We went in January and it’s now March.
Would I ever pay for this again? Absolutely not. But I did enjoy the day out with my husband and son.
