The Beacon的点评
点评：We went with friends who were visiting.
It was early on a Monday night so it wasn’t crowded. The place is beautiful and the hostess was wonderful.
We were seated close to the bar.
Our server arrived promptly and arrived promptly. He took drink orders.
My wife had a very good martini. The other lady had white wine. The other guy and I didn’t drink.
We were given menus and were deciding what to order. I remembered before 6:30 they had a “Sunset Menu “ which was not provided to us so I asked for it. It should have been supplied without requesting.
My wife ordered shrimp cocktail which she said was very good and fresh. She also ordered a vegetable entree which she did not enjoy. She ordered from the main menu.
I ordered from the “Sunset Menu” and had Caesar salad, steak and dessert. The salad was good. The steak was below average and comes with nothing so you must order a side. I ordered mashed sweet potatoes. The dessert was interesting a lemon thing.
Our waiter gets 0 for personality and service. He acted like the last place he wanted to be was at Beacon Monday night.
We had heard rave reviews about Beacon and were totally disappointed.
