点评：This is a very good choice for a nice dining experience, good food, excellent service and an enjoyable ambience! Although we have lived in the area a long time, we had never been to Portobello's. We've now been twice in about 5 weeks! What I love: the service is wonderful, first class in attentiveness and efficiency. The menu is well-rounded, a bit of everything for everyone. The salads and bread are delicious. Salads are a bit plentiful and are easily shareable. Ask them to split in the kitchen. There may be a charge for this, I can't remember for sure. The desserts are delicious as well. I also appreciate the fact that people dress a bit better than "casual" to attend the restaurant. In South Florida everything is casual and casual is good! but sometimes you want to go out where perhaps shorts and a nice shirt aren't quite enough! This is NOT a "dress up" restaurant but people do dress a bit nicer than for most of our area restaurants. Another positive note is that this restaurant does not rush the diner. Both times we've been, our meal lasted just under 2 hours for 4 people. You have ample time to order a pre-dinner cocktail, peruse the menu, order, eat and leave! The courses come out well-timed, not rushed, not slow. My small words of criticism: Both of my meals (I've ordered the yellow tail snapper (fresh fish offering) prepared puttanesca style; and the chicken di Franco) were a bit on the salty side for my taste buds. Yellow tail snapper was very fresh and the chicken was nice and tender. Both plentiful in proportion. Both served with a side of sauteed spinach. No pasta (although I think that is a choice rather than the spinach.) The spinach is delicious! The restaurant is usually crowded, make a reservation, and be prepared for a bit of a high noise level. The tables aren't too close together but it is a fairly big room and it is a bit difficult to have a conversation without leaning into your table to be closer to your party! We will be returning because you cannot get better service or dinners for the prices, which are commensurate with the nicer restaurants in town but lack the ambience of Portobello's.
