万枫酒店及套房杰克逊维尔海滩的点评
点评：I would give 4.5 stars if they allowed it. GREAT choice!
My sister and I decided to do a quick long weekend at a beach - neither of us had been to Jacksonville, so we went here. I didn't want to spend a ton on a beachfront property so we decided on this Fairfield. I thought it would be about a 5 - 8 minute walk to the beach. It took about 90 seconds to walk across the street there. The breakfast was typical but very good. Staff at the desk and breakfast are excellent!
The pool is very small but can cool you off. The hot tub was nice for relaxing.
You can walk to a bunch of restaurants and bars and stores (8 min for some, 15 for farther ones along the beach).
I also loved the beach here - clean and big...and will be returning.
Some tips:
The Hampton directly kitty-corner is awesome - has a great tiki bar near the beach. You can rent chairs/umbrella (only $40 per day) - try to get some right in front of the Hampton. If you need to use the bathroom - just hop up and get a drink at their tiki bar and use their restroom. Food at the tiki bar was decent and not terribly expensive (for a beachside bar at least).
We really liked driving over to the Atlantic Beach area - great shops and restaurants and an older crowd. Jacksonville is VERY young crowd in the evenings.
