点评：By far , this was the highlight of our family vacation. Captains Steve n Melody were outstanding!! They treated us like family and even let our 6 year old boy Talon drive the boat.
The boat is absolutely beautiful and in perfect condition. We felt completely safe and the captains were always in complete control. I often get sea sick on just Lake Michigan- not a hint is seasickness here after 5+ hours out on the gulf. We saw multiple dolphins and boated up to North Captiva . Our teenage girls loved blasting their terrible rap music on the ride but Captain Steve was very accommodating to them. Tubing in the gulf was really fun. They were very gentle with us as my kids didn’t want to get air or get dumped in the gulf. The Super Mable tube is really a floating couch n so comfortable. What an experience!!
The ride up to North Captiva takes about 90 minutes. A four hour excursion goes by quickly but the captains were very laid back about the time. Our 4 hour trip lasted about 5+ hours- no extra charge n no one was even keeping track of time. It’s just beautiful out there . However , do bring a heavy sweatshirt, or light jacket because it gets windy n cooler at sunset. Truthfully, if we were more morning people, we should have booked an all day charter because the time went by too quickly and it’s only @ $200 more. Bring your drinks and food; they provide water n some snacks. If we book an all day trip, I think we’ll ask to bar hop a little.
We have a condo in Bonita and come down several times a year. We will definitely book another trip with Ship Faced and book an all day adventure- we will bring the in- laws and share this amazing experience with them.
