Fish-Tale Waterfront Dining的点评
点评：As full time residents on the beach, Fishtale was once a nice spot for the locals to get away from the craziness of the Time Square area and enjoy tasty food, a great view and awesome staff. We, personally, would frequent 3-5 times a week and referred to everyone as our “Fishtale Family”. What has happened as of 2022 is that Fishtale has been bought by the Phelan group, which owns Pinchers.
We have never and will never visit a Pinchers as we do not support chain restaurants and would rather support small businesses, like it was. Since then, it has become exactly what you’d expect - lower quality food at higher prices and honestly it’s embarrassing to see what it’s become.
We were excited initially for a few new menu items but having an almost $30 crab cake with a disclaimer of “So fresh you may get some shell” isn’t my idea of a good addition. They couldn’t even be bothered to come up with something different with that, as it’s exactly the same description of the crab cake at Pinchers.
We strictly go back to support the staff that remains from the old owners.
