点评：My husband and I looked forward to a relaxing pre theater dinner at this beautiful & conveniently located restaurant at the Hotel Luminary near the Florida Rep. After a cocktail up on the rooftop deck we arrived downstairs for our 5:15 reservations at 5:10. We were ushered to a table by a very unfriendly & rude host who, although there was only one other table occupied in the whole restaurant, brought us to a table in a corner close to the kitchen. We requested a window table & although he was reluctant to seat us there we insisted. (these tables were not reserved)
Our waiter asked us if we wanted a cocktail & we declined. We looked over the menu & placed our order….we waited one hour for our dinner to arrive..within that time we were twice asked if we wanted a drink. At this point it was 6:15 and we were
anxious about making the 7pm curtain…we almost got up and left when our dinner finally arrived! So unfortunate to have had to rush through the wonderful meal that was presented…it was delicious and would have been thoroughly enjoyed, if we didn’t have such a negative service experience. Our waiter was very apologetic & when the bill was given it reflected a 20% discount.
I hope these service issues are reported to the “powers that be” so other diners looking forward to a good experience are not disappointed as well.
