Casablanca Cafe的点评
点评：If you see my other reviews, I do not give a “5” rating easily, but Casablanca Cafe was definitely worthy. We happened into the place while in Fort Lauderdale after a cruise. Reading the website info about the building’s history, we were intrigued and it did not disappoint.
The setting is a historic building designed by a local renowned architect and it is absolutely beautiful with a large fireplace and gorgeous ceiling, along with nice views of the beach.
James, our server, was prompt, friendly and professional. He regularly refilled drinks without interrupting our conversation and updated us on when to expect the food. He also cleared plates quickly after the appetizer. Five-star service.
We tried the Moroccan Lamb Meatball appetizer, which had a unique flavor with an excellent sauce. I then had the chicken sandwich as my meal. The fries were large and perfectly seasoned. The sandwich itself was a generous portion of chicken breast that was clearly hand battered by someone who knows what they are doing. It was well seasoned, juicy and perfectly cooked. I really cannot think of a better chicken sandwich that I have eaten.
We were so impressed that my wife made particular note of the name and location so that we are sure to return the next time we are in the area.
