点评：I live out of state in NC and booked party of 6, 5 foodies and a very proud 94 yr old grandmother, in celebration of my daughter attaining “doctorate degree” from NSU in Ft Lauderdale.
Daughter, who currently lives in Cali doing internship, had specifically requested Holly Blue (she had been) and specifically want us all to enjoy it as part of as her celebratory dinner!!
Restaurant informed me about 5 days before graduation that restaurant was being taken over entirely for same evening they had accepted my reservation. No alternate arrangements were offered by the staff as they seemed overly busy contacting others to cancel in a similar fashion.
I courteously requested a return call from the Rest. Manager. Again a few days later when I went to cancel my reservation on OpenTable (to make sure I wasn’t charged a no-show fee) I provided above info expressing my disappointment. again I requested return call from restaurant.
To date I have received no reply from Restaurant Sr. Staff nor Manager.
Of course I was able to make alternative arrangements but the disappointment remained with my daughter, her gramma and others who had been looking forward to Holly Blue.
Not surprisingly, I can not recommend this “supposedly” fine dining restaurant. No excuses need be provided, but please acknowledge how you would have expected to be treated (provide some alternate day or time) if “the shoe was on a different foot”!!
