点评：Finding a genuine Italian place in Florida is not easy. Luckily the Estero/Bonita area has some excellent choices. This place, tucked in the back of a mall by a closed movie theater is one of them. It was so good, I had to go again for lunch just to see.
For dinner, the pasta dishes are excellent and the tomato sauce is something you can tell is genuine homemade Napoli sauce, which is where the family is from. The meatball quest (referenced in several of my reviews) saw good results, great texture and recommended.
The second day was devoted to pizza. The plain cheese is the only way to judge a place on their pizza making skills-and this place is amazing. The pizza quest (also referenced in my reviews) has honed in on New Haven as by far the best pizza in America. But Mamma Anna is very very close to that mecca of pizza. Thin crust, crispy with perfect sauce and cheese ratio-I almost wanted to go a third time. For a notoriously picky pizza fan, this is very high praise. Even compared to pizza from Rome/Naples/Florence, this still would be up there.
So for dinner-try the sauce based pasta dishes but for lunch, make this your pizza destination for Florida!
