Nice Hotel but Parking Might be a Challenge

点评：We recently stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Coral Gables near Ponce de Leon and Bird Road in Coral Gables Florida. The front desk staff is professional and friendly. The attractive modern front lobby is small. A small breakfast buffet area is on the second floor.
We have previously stayed at the Four Points. The moderate sized rooms are clean and comfortable with cold quiet AC, mini fridge and microwave, safe and walk-in shower. Ask for a quiet back facing room that overlooks the pool and neighborhood. A front facing room on Bird Road will mean loud traffic noise even on the 6th floor.
Some issues - the rooms are dark with not enough lighting. More outlets are needed to charge cell phones and electronics. The elevators make an uncomfortable screeching noise as they move. The free coffee and tea bar often does not have hot coffee or hot water. No free breakfast.
Plus you might have an issue with parking. The Four Points is located on busy Bird Road and Miami drivers do not give an inch so quickly turning into the hotel's interior front driveway entrance can be a challenge. Unless there is a free spot inside the interior entrance area, you will have to maneuver your car in a very tight area before checking in. To get to the parking garage, you need to drive up a narrow steep ramp. The parking spots are narrow and tight. If you have a handicapped parking pass, you might be able to park in the entrance area and avoid parking in the garage. Parking is $20 per night.
