点评：A Coral Gables dinning fixture for many decades, and then “Closed”, Christy’s is now re-opened (same location) serving reliable steakhouse foods in a club-like ambiance with comfortable booth seating. We enjoyed a traditional recent business dinner:
Manhattan cocktails - quite good
Sourdough bread basket - adequate
Cesar salad (famous At Christy’s) - excellent!! Drenched in dressing & parmesan. This was the single best food item we tried!
Wedge salad - very good
Ribeye steak (boneless) - average
Potatoes au gratin - good
Mushrooms - average
Steaks at Christy’s are in the $55-60 range; this is a lower price point than Miami’s high-end prime steaks ($70-100). Having sampled both, the quality is commensurate with the price difference.
Christy’s ambiance is “old fashioned” nice, and the service good. It’s pleasantly quiet in Christy’s (in contradiction to the deafening sound in many of Miami’s “high energy” restaurants.
Judge for yourself; Christy’s is once again “Open” and is reliably good.
