点评：My close friend and I were in Key Biscayne for the weekend and had the absolute pleasure of the “tasting experience” at Levant in Coral Gables. It was truly a culinary experience to remember – we loved it. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming/trendy atmosphere that set the tone for an exceptional evening.
The flavors of the food were out of this world, and every dish was a masterpiece in its own right. It was paired with the most delicious cocktails. The waitress, bartender, and chef made our experience so special and went out of their way at every step. They came to the table, got to know our tastes, and really took that to heart to ensure when they created the dishes. We learned through the process as well.
Our waitress was an absolute gem. She was not only attentive and knowledgeable but also brought a genuine enthusiasm to our table. Her passion for the food and the restaurant was evident, and she made us feel like honored guests. We felt like she was genuinely excited to share the culinary journey with us, and she was so accommodating – we could have had more of any of it (but we were so full!).
Lastly, let me tell you about the dessert. Whatever you do, do not skip dessert at Levant! The Baklava we had was, without a doubt, the best we've ever tasted. The layers of flaky pastry, the honey-infused sweetness, small crushed pistachio and the perfectly balanced nutty flavors were a revelation. That and the herbal tea from turkey was the ideal ending to a fantastic meal, and we cannot recommend it enough.
Levant in Coral Gables is a true gem for anyone looking to savor the flavors of the Mediterranean. The combination of exceptional food, a passionate chef, and a wonderful waitress made this dining experience the best of our trip Miami.
