点评:I have frequented Broccolini’s for over two decades and consistently raved over their Fixed Price meals. Unfortunately, January 21, 2025 was the last time I will ever set foot in there. While everything seemed business as usual with same cozy atmosphere and friendly hosts, I noticed several new faces to include a man in a chef’s jacket who turned out to be the owner whom I have never seen in 20 plus years. Things went downhill from the beginning with a $4 increase for the Fixed Price dinner which I have no problem with, but it gets progressively worse. The bread brought out seemed stale or poor quality and the same was used for the bruschetta. While my Meatball and Ricotta appetizer was great as usual, the pasta for both entrees was overcooked and gummy with the Rollata having an abundance of cheese on it that coagulated quickly and was supposed to be a pink sauce. The wine was cheap and the owner refused to allow a substitution of bread pudding (with an upcharge) for dessert. He told me “That Math doesn’t work in the kitchen”. I have always been able to make to that substitution and the online menu still has that option. The Tiramisu given us in no way resembled Tiramisu and if that was the same Tiramisu they charge $8 for on their menu it is a rip off. I am sure this once great restaurant is headed downhill. I paid my bill tipping the waitress $20 as she was the only decent thing in the place
