点评：It’s been about 4 months since we frequented Kapow but we finally made our way back to this very good restaurant. It’s located in the upscale Boca Raton Mizner Park who’s is an upscale plaza with lots of boutique stores and several restaurants with various genre. Now we are in Season and it’s particularly busy and crowded. Traffic is an understatement. There is valet parking and the line is long so I found parking in one of the 4 free lots on both ends of the Plaza. I always drop my husband off in front to make it easy for him as I find parking. But honestly, it is chaotic. We were very happy to once again sit on the patio. You could hear great music in the air. It’s also fun to people watch and last night you could view the planets lining up.
Nick was our fabulous waiter. Wow was he efficient and knowledgeable with the menus. The drinks are incredible. So hard to choose but we agreed in the lychee martinis and that was a great choice. I get that a lot from other restaurants, but the bartender made it the best here. Another great option here is their sushi menu. We agreed on the rainbow roll. Again, it was the best one we ever had. We only ordered that one at a competitive restaurant last week and there was no comparison. Nick made some great recommendations based on what he liked. We each ordered one of their rice and noodle entrees. Paul had the duck and I had the Chow fun with the various mushrooms. Both were outstanding. Unfortunately their coffee machines were out of order and the new machines were on order, but we still ordered the Thai donuts which were made to order and were delicious. There were 5 to the order with a vanilla sauce and a raspberry sauce. All dishes were hearty and filling.
I am highly recommending Kapow to anyone interested in fabulous sushi/Asian fare with a venue located in the heart of Boca with a cool vibe.
