点评:Stopped here on a Sunday, after making a reservation days before. Loved the colorful vibe and the seemingly interesting menu. My waitress was prompt and welcoming. Also I was pleased to enjoy some live music. Obviously this place gets credit for being alluring to customers.
That’s where my visit started going downhill. I ordered shrimp tacos with the day’s special soup, carrot bisque. The cup of soup was warm and tasty. The shrimp tacos barely had any shrimp on them, & were soggy & cold because of the pineapple salsa (nicely spiced) and sour cream-based sauce. Three small & soggy tacos should have been a bad signal. But I went ahead and decided to order a piece of red velvet cake for dessert. Sucker. It was so mediocre that I left half of it. (On my way out, I saw that another diner had done the same.) Imagine my incredulity when I saw on my bill that they charged $10 for that lousy piece of cake! I felt taken, but paid my bill and left. I did tip the waitress generously as she was helpful & the unsuccessful food was not her fault. I will not return. It was a learning experience for me: ask for prices when considering desserts that are not listed on a printed menu.
