Beautiful! But Play Early!
Baywood Greens Golf Course的点评
点评：This is the nicest and best maintained public course I’ve ever played. And they have wonderful staff everywhere. I’ve played this course at least 6 times. Each time was a great experience. Until this past Saturday 9-10-22. A FIVE HOUR ROUND!! WHAT??? Yup, 5 stinkin hours. At one of the best run courses I’ve ever played. How is that possible? Easy. Management would not let the Marshall’s do their job. Granted, in the past I always teed off in the morning. But Baywood always used to pride itself in being able to finish in 4 to 4.5 hours. They ran a tight ship.
BUT…on Saturday they let 2 large groups of 14 and 17 screw around out there and tarnish the experience for the rest of us. At the beautiful par 3 over the water, there were FOUR GROUPS on the hole at the same time!! That’s just not right. I asked one of the marshals why he didn’t crack the whip? He said I tried but the mgmt said they wanted those 2 big groups of guys to return so don’t say anything about how slow they are playing. So, all I can say is if you’re in Rehoboth you have to play a round at Baywood Greens. Just make sure you get an early morning tee time to avoid the party animals and the dreaded 5 hour round.
