点评：Hopkins Farm Creamery has been one of our favorite things about Lewes, DE when we moved here several years ago and friends introduced us to their operation.
The ice cream is simply phenomenal - so good that it's ruined Ben & Jerry for us, for example. Last fall, they said they weren't going to close as they did last winter, but would remain open year round - but they were closed from December well into April. Their hours are posted on their site, but we've been multiple times since they opened to find them closed. Today we went and they had only about 12 flavors on a "remaining" white board list. I don't know if selling all their cows has impacted their ability to get supplies or if they're in the process of shuttering the operation. It seems inconceivable they'd have that little ice cream the weekend before Memorial Day.
To our disappointment and that of our neighbors and friends, they've become too unreliable to make the effort to see if they're either open or have ice cream. I hope this improves, as they are a much loved part of the local scene, one of the charms of Lewes and the best ice cream I've ever had. I gave them a 5 rating for the ice cream itself, which was lowered by the 1 of their service/operation.
