点评：I’ve been coming to this spot on vacation to purchase fudge for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, they’ve had chronically poor customer service for a long, long time, and this experience was the last straw for us. Throughout a weeklong vacation, we went twice. The first time, the male employee waiting on us only gave us .9 of a pound of fudge. Upon seeing the weight on the scale, we didn’t say anything because we assumed they’d adjust the price at the register, and not charge us for a full 1 pound. WRONG! Getting stiffed on the full pound of fudge we’d ordered was off-putting from the get-go. Buyer beware.
We (unwisely) decided to give them another chance. On the second visit, the line was out the door...for ice cream. Ice cream is in front of the store, while fudge is now in the back, and there are two separate queues for each. Because we only wanted fudge, not ice cream, to take home with us at the end of our trip, we waited in the line at the fudge counter. Despite there only being one couple in front of us, service was painstakingly slow.
When it was FINALLY our turn to order, the female employee at the fudge counter totally ignored us and walked away to scoop ice cream! She said absolutely nothing - not “I’ll be right back,” not “I’ll take your order in a second,” nothing! We walked right out.
Yes, their fudge is good, but not so earth-shatteringly good that it’s worth this hassle! I’ve learned my lesson, and I'll be looking for a new fudge place from now on.
