点评:I have been going to Sultan's Palace in Waterbury, CT, with friends, clients, and family for over 10 years. The service is ALWAYS top notch, and the food is always perfect. Until now. I went there for Mother's Day and treated my mother-in-law. The food was mediocre, and the service was very lacking despite the fact they had more servers than usual. We all go serious stomach distress (which has never happened before ever) and we are very regular customers. It turns out there was an absurd amount of MSG in the food (rather than the correct spices and salts) which made us all sick. Co-incidentally, as I indicated there were AMPLE waitstaff, and the service was mediocre at best. There is a gentleman there who is an exceptional service provider, however, he was basically servicing the whole room while the younger waitstaff stood around and hung out in the kitchen ignoring the customers. What was most insulting was that I had to tip them 18% for a party of 5 and got crap service. We will not be going back and they have lost quite a few future customers. It is obvious that they changed chef's and perhaps owners again. Very, very, disappointed. Another EXCELLENT GEM OF A RESTAURANT ruined.
