点评：I selected this restaurant as it was rated #2 in Stamford out of 266 restaurants - and I now understand why is rated #2. The decor is not impressive - for lunch no table cloths and not a fancy interior, and also small. My first reaction upon entering was that maybe I had made a mistake. Very friendly staff, however, and also very accommodating. I ordered the carpaccio and bream, my business guest ordered a chicken dish, and we ordered an appetizer of calamari for the table. The carpaccio was as good as any I have had - beautifully presented with extremely fresh arugula and Parmesan. I was pleasantly surprised. I normally do NOT order calamari as it is usually rubbery and not tasty. I tried the calamari for the table and can safely say it was the best I have ever had. Soft, not rubbery and flavorful. Will definitely be back for this. The bream was two beautiful fillets over spinach with whipped potatoes in a floral shape. The chicken was described by one of my guests as "excellent". This is a very careful, thoughtful kitchen and the food, flavor, and presentation were all grade "A". I will be back and strongly recommend Columbus Park Trattoria is you don't mind an un-fancy interior - go for the excellent food at very reasonable prices.
