点评:I recently stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Norwalk, Connecticut, and it was a truly disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful stay. Loud music from the rooftop venue literally vibrated the walls of my room at night, making it impossible to relax or sleep. There was a sound machine next to the bed which did nothing and was a clue that this is an ongoing problem. I've stayed in a lot of Residence Inns and a sound machine is not a standard amenity.
I asked the receptionist to have the manager call me but after two plus hours I was told that "Nick" had left the property and there wasn't a manager on site. The receptionist repeated assurances led to nothing, leaving me frustrated and exhausted. I was on the 8th floor and my associate was on the 4th floor and we both heard and felt the loud music.
The next morning I asked the front desk for a refund of my room as I did not get what I paid for. The next day "Nick" approved a 50% refund. Still not a happy customer.
PS. And anyone who is chemically sensitive, the hotel has a chemical smell from cleaning products.
