点评：Marriott should be ashamed of themselves. I paid over $1,000 for a room in Norwalk, CT for two nights. This was the most dreary, institutional, cheaply done room I have stayed in within recent (and even not so recent). To begin, there was no housekeeping. Our room was never refreshed—no towels, no trash emptying, no made beds. Honestly, that’s the bare minimum I would expect. The room itself is plenty spacious, but dingy doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface—not a picture on the wall. Light fixtures without working light bulbs, repulsive shower curtains, dirty bathroom grout, frayed and thin towels, peeling paint and wallpaper and substandard soaps and amenities in the bathroom. This is not my first time staying here, although it will, assuredly, be my last. We used to live in the area and have many friends still there, so the location is convenient, but for this kind of $$$, I am sure I can do umpteen times better in Westport, Southport or Stamford. Only bright spot in our stay was the roof deck bar which we were able to avail selves of for an hour one evening. Staff up there was friendly and pretty on the ball. Similarly, the gal at the front desk upon check in was friendly and efficient. Sorry, Marriott, but this place is a dump and a HARD NO.
