Roger Sherman Inn的点评
点评：There are not enough review stars available to rate my experience at the Roger Sherman inn. The first word that comes to mind is “sanctuary.” RSI is a world unto itself with lovely, well maintained grounds that generate serenity. The inn is like a page from history with art and decor to match. Our rooms were lovely, clean, and quiet. We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening and enjoyed our dinner on the massive porch. We had visited other southern Connecticut venues on our travels, and it seems like Chef Christoph is known far and wide for his culinary skills. I agree with the assessment! Our seafood dishes satisfied the need for deliciousness, providing interesting taste and texture combinations. Desserts are not to be missed. Don’t lose your opportunity to taste the one of a kind carrot cake that the pastry chef concocted. The proprietors of the Roger Sherman Inn are good people. The owners, Nes and Joseph, had a way of making us feel like we were at home. They are both so much fun to talk to! It is obvious that the employees of the Roger Sherman Inn are a great team. Everyone we met had a smile and an offer to make our stay more pleasant in some way. They certainly accomplished that mission.
