点评：Our fifth time to the Cottage and each time is a lower overall experience. The food is still solid with some solid creative appetizers but the service is really slow and inattentive. A server comes over and doesn’t even say hello and just matter of factly asks what type of water we want. It took 30 minutes to get our cocktails, 50 minutes before our appetizers came and 90 minutes before our entree. We had to flag down our waiter each time to request wine or to get salt and pepper. The steak was a huge disappointment and the burger was weirdly crumbly with congealed Comte cheese. The octopus/pork belly appetizer and corn tortellini were standouts. Icing on the cake (pun intended) was the ac was on full blast and they didn’t (or couldn’t) turn it down. A couple sat down next to us left their table before of the relentless arctic breeze on them.
The cottage has been awhile and they are showing signs of a slump - really poor service and even the menu is getting tired and a bit sloppy - they shouldn’t mess up a burger and know how to season a steak.
