Zavala Mexican Bistro的点评
点评：Four of us had a great meal on a Saturday night where the room was not as full as it should have been. While my wife is a huge fan of Mexican food, I usually just go along for the ride. Dinner rocked! Service was great, drinks, apps and dinner were timely, not rushed at all. We had the quac and salsa and chips. Yes, there could have been more quac, but it was tasty, the chips were the real stars. Fresh, hot and puffy. We all opted for the Fresh Margarita made with real citrus, not mix, and like the name very fresh. For entrées (and they were all very good ) it was Baja fish tacos, chicken verde enchiladas, chicken burrito and a special of lamb enchiladas that was fantastic. All servings were plentiful. We were having desert elsewhere so no comment there.
You can have dinner in the bar which is smaller and not as brightly lit as the dining room. While closed on Sundays Zavala is open for lunch and has a happy hour daily from 3 to 6. I'm telling my friends and we will be back!
