点评：This review is for a couple of reasons. Both which made us regret our decision to have dinner at Spoons. Breakfast and lunch are casual dining. For dinner service they transform to upscale dining. We were looking forward to dining on the patio in a pleasant environment. There were several other couples seated on the patio and one family with 2 children. Unfortunately the children of the family dining were allowed to run around the patio screaming and chasing each other, while the parents did nothing to stop this behavior. Very inconsiderate of the other diners and the restaurant that is trying to provide an upscale dining experience. This was totally unacceptable behavior in this environment. It is a restaurant not a children's playground. The management of Spoons should have intervened. Our 2nd complaint was the service. We were seated quickly. It took a long time before our wait person showed up with ice water, which she spilled onto the table and down our legs as the patio table does not have a solid top. Same scenario with water refills. Her response, you're my splashy table. We were not amused. She let our waters run dry thru out our dinner. Refills of water and ice tea had to be requested. We spent a good part of the evening waiting for the waitperson. Another table asked the receptionist if they had a waitress, as they had been waiting over 20 minutes. Her response was yes, she'll be with you shortly, then she went back to looking at her cell phone, Didn't even go inside to find the waitperson or ask if she could get them anything while they continued to wait. Another 5 minutes went by before they received service. When you dine at an upscale restaurant the service should be on point. Sorry for the long rant, but we were beyond annoyed by the time we left.
