Style Car Service LLC的点评
点评：This is a vey rough review to write. I have been a loyal customer for years. I have never even looked at other car services in the area. Typically I use Style Car Service for two to three personal round trip rides to DIA annually and I exclusively referred wedding and insurance clients to them, I have also helped booked transportation for many family members. They were timely, professional and honest........up until recently.
In May we had a return ride from DIA, our driver communicated with us that he would be late, it was understandable as it was pouring rain outside. He arrived a bit behind schedule (this had never happened before). Then he let us know that he was in a rush as he had other people to pick up. Traffic was heavy and the roads and visibility were poor. Our driver drove erratically and frequently checked his phone, letting us know the owner of the company was messaging him. He was clearly frazzled. I chalked it up to a one time bad experience.
Then the real kicker occurred in July. I went online and booked a round trip ride for some clients and myself for a concert . I successfully got a quote online from the Style Car website for $400 and a recommended tip of $80 (I recreated the quote and it is attached to this review). I shared the quote with the other riders and it looked great in comparison with booking a hotel for the night. I received an email stating that my reservation was confirmed. Keep in mind I have booked through the site well over a dozen times, the quoted price has ALWAYS matched the confirmed reservation price. Our driver arrived on time, he was professional and I was thankful for his responsible driving and timely pick up at the end of the concert.
We arrived back home and as usual I went to sign the paperwork and add my tip for the driver. I was shocked to see a rate of $1,074. I told the driver that I booked the quote online at a rate of $400, he said that they probably made a mistake and charged for a limo not an SUV and to contact the office to get it fixed. I emailed the next day and was told that their site did not quote the kind of ride I requested and that they emailed me the rate in the confirmation and that it was not negotiable. As you can see by the attachment the site DOES quote this kind of service. There are other vehicles that require a button be pressed to receive a quote. If the increase was 10% or even 20% more than the quoted amount I would been frustrated, but ok with it. However charging over 2 and half times the quote is absolute highway robbery. Friends who booked a party bus with 10 passengers and a stocked bar to the same concert (from a different vendor) paid less than we were charged. We were a group of 4 in an SUV with bottled water included.
I gave the company the ability to rectify the situation, honor the quoted amount, or even work out a rate that worked for both parties. As of this moment their site still quotes an SUV with detailed pick up and drop off instructions for 8 hours at $400.
Proceed with caution or use another company for your transportation needs. This is especially painful as I have several weddings booked in Sept and October and I need to inform all of the out of state guests to seek out other transportation to and from DIA, I cannot endorse a company that operates in such a poor manner.
