点评：My wife and I don't drink--she gave up vodka martinis after we got married--but it's hard to pass up an evening of live entertainment, tasty appetizers and people watching at the Office Spiritorium in the Strater Hotel in Durango, Colorado. Open from 4 to 11 daily, it is a unique social center with skilled bartenders with an emphasis on craft cocktails. It's a one-of-a-kind bar unlike any other. Servers offer small plates, indulgent appetizers, fine wines and craft beers. Sit at a window booth or chair by the fire or perch on the balcony. The room is draped with great woodworking and stained glass windows. Munch on shrimp cocktail, Navajo cornbread, calamari, pork egg rolls, bacon wrapped shrimp, pork potstickers, Idaho nachos or a meat and cheese plate with assorted crackers and breads. For dessert, choose from among bread pudding, creme brulee, flourless chocolate cake, cheesecake, ice cream or house-made tarts. Social center? Spiritorium? A glitzy saloon with a lot of friendly conversation.
