点评:We had our first Colorado meal here on a mid-Monday morning in late October. The number of workers outnumbered the guests by a ratio of three to one, so seating at a booth was problem-free. I ordered something light – steamed spring rolls with shrimp and grilled pork. Regrettably, they arrived almost instantaneously which, to Cherry Wonderdog, was a dead giveaway that these had been made hours in advance - perhaps a night or two beforehand.
Tastewise, they were alright, but the texture was missing something, like the restaurant itself. It seemed too big of an operation for an intimate restaurant feel. Too many young staff members standing around looking at their phones, taking turns serving us (one to seat us, another to bring the water, one more to take our order, another one to bring my meal, another one to bring my son’s, and yet another to take our check. On top of this, there was loud rap music playing through the speakers. It might have been of Vietnamese origin, but it’s still an odd genre to be blasting at a restaurant (in the morning no less).
