点评：This restaurant was my favorite in Boulder before it moved. For my birthday, my husband surprised me by taking me here for my favorite Lobster TV Dinner. While the food itself is very good and the presentation beautiful, we were unlucky enough to have a waitress who was uninterested and clearly did not care.
She advised us that their shellfish order had not come in so of course it affected what I wanted and what my husband had intended to order. But that is not her fault and I appreciated the honesty and the fact they didn't substitute frozen food. That said, she said the Lobster dinner would have a larger portion of the shrimp scampi.
After ordering our salads I ultimately ordered the Lobster TV Dinner, knowing I was getting shrimp scampi. What I got was Thai Chili Shrimp (I'm allergic to peppers....) I tried for 20 minutes to get her attention as did the table next to us who wanted their check. Never once did she come back to the table to see if we needed anything, if everything was cooked properly and tasted good. Nothing. She didn't appear to be overwhelmed, just didn't seem to care. She seemed to treat all her tables the same.
She finally came and saw that I hadn't touched my meal. I explained that what she served me wasn't close to shrimp scampi. I explained we had driven an hour from Boulder to come to what was my favorite restaurant (formerly!!) for my birthday. She didn't seem to care. Simply said "that's what the chef said". Didn't ask me if I wanted anything else, even though I would have said no as my husband had been long done with his dinner, haven't eaten it while I watched. She took our dishes, came back and literally dropped the dessert menus and walked away.
Another 20 minutes later came back and I simply asked for the check. She came back with the check and told us she took my meal off the check. Never once did she apologize, with me a happy birthday, ask if I wanted anything else, offer a dessert. She did me a favor by taking my meal off the bill - it wasn't touched and it wasn't what I ordered!
150$ later for a salad and some wine, My husband had a good dinner though.
We won't be back and neither will our friends. We'll celebrate elsewhere. No reason to pay to be treated as we were - Indifferent and uncaring. So disappointed.
