Supatras Thai Bistro的点评
点评：FYI, name has changed to Signature Thai Bistro following a sale of the restaurant to former employees.
Dinner was 4 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Typically crowded for Saturday night dinner but a table materialized for us where there wasn't one moments earlier. Smiling staff, fast service, very attentive.
Asian (including Thai) beers served followed by a very tasty platter of assorted appetizers.
Tom Ka Kai (coconut milk soup) in a hotpot is out favorite with a scoop of steamed rice in each bowl, full of chicken mushrooms lemon grass...excellent.
Our main courses were Gai Kua (wide noodles, choice of meat and veggies is another favorite. We also tried some kind of Paella, rice with shrimp a d large scallops. That was good but but a little dry and not quite worth the platinum price. Someone also ordered bbq pork fried rice and except for the scallops the dishes tasted similar but with an $18 price difference between the plares.
We finished with Sticky Rice and Mango, another of our favorites. Always terrific but this time the rice was a bit al dente for a dessert.
My only complaint was that the food came out so fast our table was kind of crowded and difficult to get to everything while still hot. I am sure new ownership and new menus mean bugs to be worked out. I am certain they will be.
