点评：Had heard good things about this place. Found them on opentable. They required a prepaid reservation for $300. Get there on time, everything seems cool. Then in the middle of out meal, I get an alert from Opentable that we were getting refunded? Confused, I asked the server and he stated that this was also happening to a few others as well and not worry about it, it was a "glitch". Then after we finished our meal, I get a bill for $750! I was shocked in all the years of going to restaurants I have never been scammed like this. This is supposed to be a Michelin star restaurant.
I have been to many Michelin restaurants across the world and have never come accross this type of switch and bait practice. If the food was $750 worth, I would have minded but the meal was not worth that much. May be at the French Laundry but at the VIllage Pub? So please be careful, if they require you prepay for your meal, you may get a surprise bill for twice as much after wards. I even contacted Opentable about this and and they refuse to take responsibility. Then contacted the restaurant and still no response. I am sure I am not he only one that this is happened to.
Please speak up if you had a similar experience. This completely unacceptable and has to stop.
