点评：I'm generally a fan of Cottonwood. Great Truckee feel. Lots of wood and local art and view of the downtown. Their general approach was we will give you good food at an okay price, and we're not stuck up.. I'll let you decide if a $35 veggie meatloaf fits the bill. But in any event the veggie meatloaf, it's not tasty, and for 35 bucks it is supposed to be! it's just largely a tasteless well textured loaf that has a tomato paste on top. I had it twice and for 35 dollars I thought the first time i just was drunk or missing it. But no. It just has no taste except a little spice. They have gone to the waiter takes the order, food runner delivers, whoever gives the bill deal, so I did not have a chance to talk to the chef. Anyway, I've gone here for years, and the food is basically a B , if you're not a veg. You will not be embarrassed if you bring your friends here. It's fine. The atmosphere is great! And they do have the token veggie meals - burger ($20) and meatloaf (35).
