点评:We have been to this restaurant several times, and tbh, it wasn’t always great. We were seated at a table and the server didn’t know we’d been seated in their area, we had to wait for someone to bring us water (we finally had to ask for our server), and were served frozen bread with rock hard butter.
Fast forward to the last three times we’ve been there, and totally different story. The service was amazing, the food remarkable, and the view, well, undeniably one of the best in Truckee. There are issues with the food delivery, and I think they are working on it. It appears they’ve hired more servers and food runners to expedite the food delivery which is a step in the right direction.
Our server was a delightful woman named Roxy, or Roxanne. At first blush, we thought she was an owner or manager filling in because she was so professional, and cared about our experience.
There are issues with the chef, but honestly, it’s difficult to find not just a chef, but a support staff to bring the meal to fruition. With new owners, new management and new staff, once the kinks are worked out, this will again be the dining experience in Truckee as it once was.
