Breathtaking at every turn, off the beaten path
RustRidge B&B / Winery的点评
点评：When I think of Napa Valley and wineries, I want to experience the real authentic Napa Valley, like in Bottle Shock. I’m so happy I stayed at the family-owned and operated Bed & Breakfast, RustRidge B&B, Winery and HORSES, beautiful Yellow Labs and pretty cats.
The room was very comfortable and I felt instantly at home. The owners Susan & Jim go out of their way to make me feel comfortable. While I could sleep forever in that bed, I was just x tied about hiking on their 200 acre ranch and wine tasting. But first, Ramona, who has been the cook and housekeeper for 22 years she told me, made the most delicious breakfast and after I ate the delicious food and her special salsa, I needed a good hike. I beat the heat and best part, their sweet labradors, Cowboy and Lucy, escorted me yo the ridge line.
Later in the afternoon Susan served appetizers and gave the other guests and I a wine tasting. Guests get a discount and it was difficult to pick which ones to purchase, they were all such good wines.
Best part of my experience was that I was close to everything but I felt completely satisfied being of the beaten path in the most exquisite Lower Chiles Valley. Raw nature, the land, the hundreds of grape vines, the deep blue skies, memorable sunsets and all the animals and gracious hosts make RustRidge B&B a definite annual trip.
