点评：I recently had the chance to try Five Guys, thanks to a birthday gift card from my cousin, and I was excited to see what all the hype was about. Right off the bat, I want to give a heads-up—if you have a peanut allergy, this place may not be for you. They have an abundance of free peanuts available as an appetizer, and the atmosphere is definitely filled with that unmistakable peanut scent.
When it comes to burgers, Five Guys offers an impressive variety of toppings, but I found it to be a bit overwhelming. There were so many flavors competing that I struggled to really taste the meat itself, which was disappointing. It felt like the toppings overshadowed the quality of the burger itself.
On a more positive note, the fries were quite good! I appreciated the option of malt vinegar, which you don’t often find at burger joints. It added a nice touch to the experience. However, I was taken aback by the price—two burgers and fries set me back $30, which I don’t think is quite worth it for the overall experience.
While I enjoyed some aspects of my visit, particularly the fries and the variety of toppings, I don’t think I’ll rush back anytime soon. Five Guys certainly has its fans, but it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
