点评：Such an amazing trip! It was really incredible to see all of the creatures the ocean teems with.
We left early since everyone was ready. The captain told us he had earlier seen promising activity in a particular area, so we headed that way. En route, we slowed down next to a bouy, with a group of sea lions piled up on it.
We moved on and not much later, we saw 2 fin whales. After this, we came to a spot with sea birds (terns?) and many, many common dolphins, leaping and swimming all around us.
Seriously, they were everywhere you looked! Also a few sea lions swimming around. On the way back, we slowed next to rocks, on which lay harbor seals, drying off in the sun.
Steve told us about the various denizens of the sea, answered any questions we had and offered blankets or rain gear to make us comfortable.
If you are visiting Long Beach, this is the boat ride to go on!
