It’s because the experience you enjoy has so many components that are carefully orchestrated by individuals that are committed to ensuring that the myriad of intertwined actions in the kitchen will be articulated properly into a one of a kind insoluble memory. Molly, like Evelyn before her, takes her stewardship seriously, and to the uninitiated, effortlessly performs this delicious alchemy night after night, after night. The entire staff is always engaging, knowledgeable and congenial.
Tucked away among the crisscrossing series of one way streets in an unpretentious neighborhood in Long Beach is a gem. The offerings are innovative, but don’t suffer the trend to unify anything and everything. The palette is well grounded and the embellishments contribute to the whole in the subtlest ways.
