Jing's residence was great.
The restaurant design, library (English library with free wifi), and courtyard were all beautiful, and seemed as though they would be better placed in Beijing's 798 art district, rather than an unassuming side street in Pingyao.
The staff spoke a great level of english, and were very friendly and helpful.
It was by far the most expensive meal I enjoyed in Pingyao (there was only a 'set menu' on offer - appetiser, soup, main, and dessert for 250 - 300 yuan per person, drinks extra) and was definitely worth it. I will recommend the restaurant to my friends, and am only disappointed by the fact that I didn't discover this gem until my last night in town.更多
