点评:My family and I had lunch on their patio on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived about 12:50 p.m. and as expected it was rather busy. They have a large lot but even so we had to wait until someone left to get a space. We checked in a the gate and was told that it was a 30 minute wait and they would text us. I received an initial text confirming my check in (kudos for that!) so we went for a walk along the dock (except for our dog, because they are not allowed out their). We received a confirming text and went back.
There was confusion at the host stand where you went after you got your text message; some cut in line, others just stood there even though they had not received a text yet. After we were seated with our dog outdoors (most people on the patio seemed to have dogs; we really appreciated that since last year the Crow's Nest in Santa Cruz would only allow ADA-mandated service animals). While they are close to the bay, you don't have view of it from anywhere on the patio, as far as I can tell.
The food was very good; one family member had a steak salad ($24), another seared tuna ($24), a "brew burger" ($19), and I had fried Baja fish tacos ($20). We did not try the beers since those driving were the only drinkers. Total bill for four adults was $94 plus 15% tip of $14 or $108.
The service was not so great--this is why four circle review and not five; my wife had a steak salad but they gave her a butter knife to cut the tri tip. We had to wait a long time to flag down a server, who then brought one. In addition, the brew burger was ordered with sauteed onions but delivered raw onions that my relative did not like eating. I asked that they remove the extra $1 charge and they did. When I said that I wanted to take away my second fish taco they brought me a box to self-service; better restaurants take it away and bring it back to you in a box.
