点评：Fun, kitschy joint in Half Moon Bay with warm service and lots of fried options.
Would definitely recommend trying Cameron’s to round off a visit to Half Moon. The decor is all about MAXIMALISM — think Chilis/Applebees/Cracker Barrel style but with a decidedly British take, innit.
Fish and chips is the clear classic here. The London Tower of onion rings was a fun way to start the meal, and the extensive beer menu was just what we were hoping for from a British pub.
Be prepared for a bit of heartburn after the meal — it’s fried pub food, after all — but the plentiful parking out front means you don’t have a long walk from the table to the car.
The real highlight, however, was our server — she was a local schoolteacher in Half Moon Bay and went out of her way to help us feel welcomed and celebrate our weekend vacation in her town. We made sure to leave a nice tip; so glad to see a local place keep the lifeblood of the community flowing!
