点评：We had dinner at La Costanera recently and were really looking forward to our dinner at this Peruvian restaurant while vacationing in Half Moon Bay. We arrived on time for our reservations and were seated promptly and were given the menu to peruse. The restaurant was not busy; there were lots of empty tables. However, we waited almost 30 minutes before anyone came to our table to take our order. We had not even been served water. The server apologized for the wait but nothing was done about it. Everything else was delayed, too. Our drinks and water arrived 15-20 minutes after we ordered them and our appetizer arrived after that. By this time, we had been at the restaurant a full hour. While the food was good, the service was disappointing. After we finished eating, we waited an inordinate amount of time to get the check. We finally walked to the front and asked for the bill. Because I don’t know if they were just having an off-night or whether this is typical, I am giving them a rating of 3 stars instead of 2. But we won’t be coming back the next time we are in Half Moon Bay, which is a shame because the food was good and the venue was nice.
