点评：Amarith Farmhouse Restaurant and Bakery has taken the location of Super Mex in Fountain Valley, and we are thrilled. The new owners have painted and the inside is clean and inviting. We stepped up to the counter and the staff offered recommendations, handed us menus and were so friendly and willing to offer other recommendations and answer any questions.
Mr. B. ordered the Tomato Bisque and a Grilled Cheese sandwich based on the owner's recommendation. I opted for the Turkey, Brie Panini. Don't know if they are going to have a liquor license, so no alcohol, but plenty of other drink options. I went for the house made tropical lemonade. It was so good and refreshing on a hot day. The server brought out a bowl of their housemade chicken noodle soup on the house for us to try. The broth was full of flavor, lovely shredded white chicken, pasta and carrots, served with crackers. It was scrumptious.
Our dinners came out pretty quick and the tomato bisque was to die for, best tomato soup I have had in a very long time. The grilled cheese was ooey and gooey perfect for dipping in the soup.
My turkey and brie panini was perfectly toasted with grill marks, and was filled with turkey, melted brie cheese, fresh spinach and freshly sliced tomatoes.
The restaurant prides itself on farm fresh ingredients, so no chips or fries were served with the sandwich and I was perfectly fine with it.
There is plenty of parking, a nice size dining room, a bench to sit and wait if you are doing take out. The nicest most helpful owners and staff. We love this new neighborhood gem and will most definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.
