Nep Cafe - Fountain Valley的点评
点评：There was already a crowd waiting for tables at this popular, somewhat noisy French Vietnamese brunch cafe right across from Mile Square Park on a late Thursday morning. Great that a table was open in the spacious covered patio right by the entrance. Service was surprisingly welcoming and attentive for this outdoor section. Based on our waiter’s elaborate highlights of Nep’s popular signature favorites, we selected three tempting dishes to share. Food came quickly. Both the deconstructed Banh Mi Chao -filet mignon and the roasted bone marrow with ear-shaped pasta were beautifully plated and superbly flavorful. The popcorn chicken, while crispy and soft, did not stand out like the aforementioned duo. For artisanal coffee, the colorful iced ca phe dua ube, a sweet concoction of purple yam and coconut milk, was marvelous. Will definitely go back to check out the Szechuan noodles, Xuo Man and Crab Toast soon.
