点评:We have been regular diners at Bud's for some years, but dinner last night is giving us second thoughts; it was among the worst restaurant meals we've ever had-- EVER. One of us ordered a salad and shrimp. The salad was fine, but the shrimp were overcooked to resembling little knots of charcoal. The other two of us ordered the soup (very good) and a salad (again, fine), with the rack of lamb, which is usually excellent. First, the "rack of lamb" wasn't that; it was maybe a lamb steak (we couldn't tell what cut it was, and neither could the server, although he claimed it was their usual rack). It might have been alright if the "steak" (?) was OK, but it was the consistency of shoe leather, inedible. The server claimed it was because they had the lamb prepared by a different processor. That made no difference to us, it was inedible. The "rack" was accompanied by green beans. I don't know how they managed it, but the beans were like wood, incredibly tough, and, again, inedible. The baked potato came out of the itchen luke warm, and, I suspect, was cooked some time in the past and rewarmed slightly. This is all too bad since Bud's has beena favorite for its local lamb for years. I'm not sure it we'll ever go back there, and it grieves me.
